Who we are

InterviewIQ ("we", "us") is an AI practice tool for interviews, CV review, and presentation. Contact: hello@interviewiq.app. Operator: [your legal entity], [address].

What we collect

Your email — to create your account and identify your sessions.
Content you provide — the job descriptions, CVs, notes, and answers you enter, plus the AI panel's questions, scores, and verdicts for your sessions.
Basic technical data — standard request logs and rate‑limit counters (e.g. IP address) held briefly for security and abuse prevention.

What we do NOT collect or store

Your AI API key. When you bring your own key it is stored only in your browser and sent directly to your chosen AI provider. It never reaches our servers.
We do not sell your data or use your transcripts to train models. Anonymised, opt‑in signals may be used to improve scoring quality; this is off by default.

Sub‑processors

We use Cloudflare (hosting, storage, security). If you use the managed AI option, requests go to our configured AI provider ([Anthropic / Google / Groq / etc.]); if you bring your own key, requests go to the provider you selected. Payments (if you upgrade) are handled by Paddle as merchant of record. Optional sign‑in email uses [Resend].

How we use your data

To run your practice sessions, save your history so you can track progress, secure the service, and (if you upgrade) process payment. Legal bases where applicable (GDPR): performance of a contract and legitimate interests.

Your rights

You can view and delete any session from your progress page, and clear your locally stored data from Settings. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account data by emailing us. Depending on your location (e.g. EU/UK GDPR, California CCPA/CPRA), you may have additional rights including data portability and the right to object.

Data retention & security

Your sessions are retained until you delete them or close your account. Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest by our hosting provider. No method is 100% secure; we work to protect your data and will notify affected users of a material breach as required by law.

Children

InterviewIQ is not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We'll post updates here and update the date above. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
